Concello de A Veiga

The A Veiga Council developed the program A Parada during 2026, an initiative aimed at promoting equal opportunities, strengthening women's autonomy, and preventing gender-based violence in rural areas.

Through various actions, such as training leisure time monitors with a gender perspective, the support group Tecedoras de Soños, and linguistic autonomy support, the program has promoted training, community participation, and the creation of support networks among women.
This initiative is co-financed by the European Union, through the FSE+ Galicia 2021-2027 Program, and by the Xunta de Galicia, within the framework of aid for the promotion of equality (SI435A).
