The Xunta de Galicia is tendering the project design and construction of 32 public homes in Salceda de Caselas (Pontevedra) for €6.7 million, following the signing of the municipal plot transfer.

The Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Planning, María M. Allegue, along with the territorial delegate of the Xunta in Vigo, Ana Ortiz, signed with the mayor of Salceda de Caselas, María Dolores Castiñeira, the transfer of two municipal plots for the construction of 32 public homes.
The tender, which includes the project design, site supervision, and construction of the homes, was published today on the Public Contracts Platform of Galicia to expedite the process. Companies can submit their bids until December 11th.
Two buildings will be constructed: one will house 14 homes and the other 18. It was highlighted that the homes will be "accessible and energy-efficient" and that industrialized techniques will be used to shorten timelines and be more sustainable.
Salceda de Caselas is one of the 18 municipalities that are ceding municipal land free of charge to the Xunta for the construction of public housing, a collaboration that the minister appreciated.
