The Mos City Council today began the analysis and validation phase of proposals submitted for the Mos Decide 2027 Participatory Budgets, a step prior to the public vote that will take place from October 30 to November 6.

After the deadline for submitting initiatives closed, the municipal technical committee started reviewing the proposals to ensure they meet the legal, technical, and economic requirements. Proposals must be within municipal competence, serve the general interest, describe specific actions, and have a maximum cost of 200,000 euros.
The areas of action include works and equipment, environment, sports, parks and gardens, education, social policy and welfare, culture, and youth. The analysis and validation phase will conclude on October 29, leading to the public vote from October 30 to November 6.
Residents registered in Mos aged 16 and over will be able to vote, choosing up to three proposals. Voting can be done online via the municipal website or in person at various municipal facilities such as the City Hall or the Library.
Initiatives will be selected in order of votes received until the 200,000 euro budget is exhausted, provided their execution is viable. The chosen projects will be incorporated into the 2027 municipal budgets.
In this second edition, the preparatory process included a series of sectoral meetings with local groups and associations to encourage broader participation.
