The University of Vigo is participating once again in the Edugal educational fair at the Pazo da Cultura in Pontevedra until this Friday, showcasing its academic programs to future university students.

The University of Vigo (UVigo) is presenting its academic offerings at the Edugal fair, taking place at the Pazo da Cultura in Pontevedra from Wednesday to Friday. At the institution's stand, prospective students can obtain information about various degrees and learn about the studies and initiatives from 23 faculties and schools across its three campuses.
The Vice-Rector for Students and University Life, Dolores González, highlighted that attracting new students is a priority and that this edition of Edugal marks new steps to strengthen the university's presence at educational fairs with a unified institutional image and improved coordination between the campuses. The goal is to reach more students and assist them in choosing their university future.
The Vice-Rector of the Pontevedra campus, Marián Fernández, stated that Edugal is an important opportunity to bring the University of Vigo closer to secondary school students and their families, answer their questions, and guide them through a decisive moment in their education. She also emphasized that the fair, which brings together 64 educational institutions, allows for "highlighting" the Pontevedra campus, which is reinforcing its identity around creativity and sustainable innovation through the Campus Crea.
UVigo is organizing its presence with a single stand that includes a general information desk and spaces where representatives from 23 faculties and schools will present their programs. On Wednesday morning, visitors were able to learn firsthand about the studies offered at the faculties of Fine Arts, History, and Communication, as well as the schools of Mining and Energy Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Industrial Engineering. Examples of the centers' work were also showcased, such as ceramic and engraving projects from Fine Arts, and information was provided on specific initiatives like the photography contest Enfoca.RME from the School of Mining and Energy.
