The Secretary General for Employment, Susana Pérez Iglesias, highlighted today in Vigo the cooperation between Galicia and northern Portugal to advance labor equality through the IQUAL Campus project, a free online training initiative.

The IQUAL Campus project, part of the Interreg POCTEP program (Spain–Portugal), is led by the Xunta de Galicia with the objective of promoting equal employment opportunities through training and awareness. The online campus offers free content aimed at citizens of the Galicia-North of Portugal euroregion.
This initiative is developed in collaboration with the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Minho, and the Intermunicipal Community of Cávado, as well as the Universidade do Porto. The Secretary General for Employment and Labor Relations, Susana Pérez Iglesias, pointed out the importance of training for creating more egalitarian work environments.
The training modules cover key topics such as equal treatment and pay, co-responsible work-life balance, equality plans, gender-sensitive occupational risk prevention, and protection against harassment and gender-based violence.
Pérez Iglesias emphasized that IQUAL Campus complements other actions by the Xunta in this area, such as the online Labor Equality Campus or the 'Que non te líen, ti elixes' program, which aims to promote free professional choice free from gender stereotypes.
