The road improvement project between Montouto and Penelas includes cleaning ditches, repairing potholes, and profiling edges before resurfacing the carriageway with asphalt. The total area to be resurfaced will be 11,232 square meters over a 1,790-linear-meter stretch with variable widths.
Additionally, existing manhole covers will be raised to the final finished level, and horizontal signage with edge lines will be applied to ensure comfortable and safe circulation.
This work addresses the deterioration of the road due to the age of the pavement, weather conditions, and daily traffic wear.
