The Xunta de Galicia has opened the submission period for the 2026 Zero Tolerance Awards against Harassment, aimed at recognizing the efforts of public educational centers in preventing harassment and promoting positive coexistence. The deadline is November 6.

Public educational centers can submit their projects developed during the 2025/26 academic year. The call is open to centers offering early childhood and primary education, as well as those providing secondary, baccalaureate, vocational training, and special regime education.
The award has a total endowment of 30,000 euros. In each of the two categories, a first prize of 8,000 euros, a second prize of 4,000 euros, a third prize of 2,000 euros, and an honorable mention of 1,000 euros will be awarded. Applications must be submitted electronically through the Xunta's official portal.
This initiative reinforces the Ministry's commitment to creating safe and inclusive school environments. The coexistence regulations have also been recently updated to strengthen the climate of respect in classrooms.
The awards are part of a series of measures against school harassment, including the Digital Life Contract, the Network of Municipalities against School Harassment, the prohibition of mobile phone use in schools, the Orange Points for anonymous reporting, the School Harassment Thermometer, and the ACAE Teams for Action against School Harassment.
