The Deputy for Employment of the Provincial Council of A Coruña, Rosa Ana García, along with the mayor of Noia, Francisco Pérez, visited various establishments adhering to the MercaNaVila campaign today. The tour allowed them to observe the initiative's impact on local commerce sales and its repercussions in the municipality, which ranks among those with the highest purchase volumes using these vouchers, alongside Ordes and Cee.
The visit included local shops O Merliño, Rasgos, Model Line, and Opticalia, where the deputy and the mayor spoke with their managers about the program's development and the use of discounts.
MercaNaVila, in its second edition, has 1,136 affiliated establishments in towns with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants in the province. To date, the campaign has mobilized over 9.7 million euros in sales, and consumers have already used 4.3 million euros in discounts, representing 86% of the 5 million euro credit allocated by the Provincial Council.
Rosa Ana García highlighted these results as a testament to the program's positive reception among businesses and citizens, emphasizing Noia's prominent position in the campaign's commercial activity.
Discount vouchers of up to 100 euros can be downloaded from the website www.mercanavila.gal and used until November 20th or until the available credit is exhausted. Discounts are applied directly at the point of purchase: 10 euros for amounts between 20 and less than 30 euros; 20 euros for purchases between 30 and less than 50 euros; and 30 euros for purchases equal to or greater than 50 euros.
