“"The objective was not only to showcase our products but also to offer producers from the province a real opportunity to establish contacts, open markets, and generate new business possibilities. The public's response was extraordinary. Many people were surprised to discover the enormous variety and quality of what is produced in the province of A Coruña, as well as the capacity of our professionals to transform these products into top-tier gastronomic proposals. But, above all, we are satisfied because this presence also translated into commercial opportunities for the participating companies and producers."

The A Coruña Provincial Council concluded its participation in the Gastronomic Forum Barcelona with a very positive balance, showcasing the province's gastronomic and productive potential through twenty activities over three days.
The provincial program, under the slogan «A paisaxe que sabe» (The landscape that tastes), registered a high public attendance. Visitors, surprised by the diversity, quality, and culinary possibilities of the province's products, showed notable interest in the chefs' creations, tastings, and local product presentations.
Participation in the forum enabled local producers to establish significant commercial contacts with distribution and catering professionals, opening new avenues for collaboration and business. This promotional initiative facilitates access for local products to new markets and expands their commercialization potential.
The Vice-President of the Provincial Council, Xosé Regueira, emphasized that promoting local products has an economic and social dimension that extends far beyond gastronomy. "When we introduce a cheese, a wine, a seafood product, a meat, or any other product from our province, we are also valuing the work of the people behind it, the farms, the cooperatives, the small businesses, and the entire productive fabric that is fundamental to our rural areas." He added that "betting on proximity products means contributing to wealth and opportunity generation in the territory, fostering economic activity, creating employment, and helping to retain population."
Throughout the three days, the Provincial Council's space featured participation from companies such as A Conserveira, Bonilla a la Vista, Cárnicas Domínguez, Mariscos de Barallobre, Cafés Aruba, San Isidro Bakery, Galegas de Nata, Galmesán, Empanadas Ternura, and María Manuela Enoturismo. Also participating were Víctor Basante, winner of the Best Galician Chef of the Year 2025 contest, alongside Naír González, Mar Lago, Álex Martínez, Andrés Torreiro, sommelier Alejandro Paadín, Óscar Ramil, manager of the Arzúa-Ulloa DOP Regulatory Council, and Manuel Costiña, from the restaurant Retiro da Costiña, awarded two Michelin stars.
