A total of 13 people participated in the cleaning of the beaches of Carnota during the summer months, with work extending from July to October.

The brigade, divided into 3 groups, was responsible for the manual cleaning of all sandy areas and adjacent zones. The objective was to maintain the coastal area in optimal conditions of use and preserve the natural and ecological value of the spaces that make up the municipality's coastline.
These works were made possible by the MA100 program, subsidies for the cleaning of maritime beaches, financed 100% by the Provincial Council of A Coruña. The total contribution for this 2026 exercise was €30,959.06.
The Carnota City Council is already preparing the new call for 2027, with the aim of intensifying efforts to keep the beaches in perfect condition and preserve their environmental values.
