The Director General of Commerce and Consumption, Gabriel Alén, accompanied by the Xunta delegate in Lugo, Alfonso Villares, participated today in the prize draw for the campaign developed in the city's neighborhoods. This was the final stop of an initiative that materialized in bi-weekly actions to promote local consumption in various Galician towns, especially in municipalities without open shopping centers.
The campaign was active in Lugo until October 15th. In total, the initiative reached more than fifty associations of local businesses throughout Galicia. In each of the involved localities, as in Lugo today, 20 gift cards worth 50 euros were distributed among the participating customers.
