The Low Emission Zone (ZBE), which came into effect in Lugo on September 17th, has a twelve-month adaptation period, until September 18th, 2027, during which no sanctions will be imposed. This period allows residents to become familiar with the ordinance's operation, which aims to reorganize traffic within the historic center.
The event will feature a humor show by Galician comedian Miguel Bruneti, winner of several monologue contests and co-founder of Disfrutona Comedy Club. His show will be based on everyday situations and references to the way people move and live in the city.
Additionally, there will be an informational booth from Europe Direct Lugo where attendees can learn more about the ZBE, sustainable mobility, and the contribution of European Next Generation EU funds to urban transformation. A voluntary questionnaire will also be available to collect opinions and proposals on the use of recovered public spaces.
