The Ares City Council is launching a new mobile recycling point designed to cover events, festivals, and busy activities, aiming to improve waste management and promote recycling.

The Ares City Council is incorporating a new resource for residents: a mobile recycling point specifically designed to cover events, festivals, and busy activities held in the town. This itinerant infrastructure will improve the management of waste generated at these large-scale gatherings, facilitating its separation at the venue and promoting recycling, the circular economy, and the care of public spaces.
Waste can be deposited in the corresponding bins according to its type: Glass, Plastic, Paper, and General Waste. This initiative aims to promote recycling, foster the circular economy, and help keep public spaces clean and well-maintained.
The initiative is part of the municipal commitment to environmental care and continuous improvement in waste management. It is supported by the Xunta de Galicia, Xacobeo, and co-financed by the European Union through European Funds.
The Council emphasizes that "Making every event a more sustainable and environmentally friendly space is in everyone's hands. Recycling in Ares is easier every day!".
