The project, coordinated by Galicia Suroeste Eurural and also involving Limia-Arnoia, will run through 2026 and 2027 with the goal of opening new sales and promotion channels for local and artisanal products.
The first event of this edition took place in Tui from October 9 to 12, at the building in Plaza de la Inmaculada, featuring eighteen stalls of crafts, jewelry, fashion, and food, along with workshops and live music. The manager of the Ulla Tambre Mandeo GDR, María Fernández Varela, attended the event on October 9.
This initiative fosters cooperation between territories and aims to offer entrepreneurs new spaces to present their work and connect with the public, while also introducing residents to the diversity of rural proposals.
The second edition of Espazos Efémeros includes four temporary spaces, one in the Ulla Tambre Mandeo territory, which will combine commercial activities with cultural and gastronomic experiences to promote local knowledge.
For the Ulla Tambre Mandeo GDR, this initiative represents an opportunity to showcase the local productive and creative fabric, facilitate new marketing channels, and support entrepreneurship, with a special focus on women and youth. The project is funded by the European Union through FEADER, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, and the Xunta de Galicia.
