O Concello de Ares mellora a recollida selectiva de residuos municipais coa adquisición dun novo punto limpo móbil, cun investimento de 12.093,95 euros, cofinanciado pola Xunta de Galicia e a Unión Europea.

The new equipment, consisting of a trailer equipped with nine selective deposit openings, aims to facilitate residents' correct separation and delivery of domestic waste requiring specific management, bringing the service closer to different population centers.
This initiative is part of Line 6 of aid from the Consellería de Medio Ambiente e Cambio Climático, aimed at increasing eco-efficiency in municipal waste management. The project, awarded to the company MACANE RECICLAXES, S.L., promotes reuse, recycling, and valorization, reducing incorrect disposal in conventional bins and moving towards a more sustainable model.
The Ares Town Council thus reaffirms its commitment to environmental sustainability and the circular economy, contributing to the objectives of the Galician Municipal Waste Management Sector Plan 2030. The action benefits from a 60% ERDF co-financing rate.
