The Mos Council has launched RENACE, a pioneering program designed to foster personal empowerment and autonomy for 15 women who are users of the Women's Information Center (CIM).

The initiative aims to guide participants through self-discovery, confidence recovery, and the strengthening of their personal autonomy. The mayor of Mos, Nidia Arévalo, accompanied by the CIM director, Ana Rodríguez Cabaleiro, visited the participants to observe the program's development firsthand.
RENACE seeks to help women reconnect with themselves, regain enthusiasm, and identify their capabilities and strengths. Through group dynamics and shared experiences, the program encourages each woman to feel like the protagonist of her own life, gain confidence in her decisions, and move towards greater personal autonomy.
The methodology is experiential and group-based, emphasizing mutual support and the creation of a network among women to combat social isolation. Activities include hiking, personal reflection, photography, and self-care actions, combining creative proposals with outings beyond the usual setting.
The program is structured in distinct stages focusing on self-knowledge, identifying strengths, building confidence, personal care, communication, and decision-making. Collective work is a fundamental pillar for establishing a support network that enables participants to face new stages with greater security.
RENACE is funded by the Xunta de Galicia through a grant aimed at promoting equality.
