The solidarity pádel tournament «Xuntos pola memoria» brought together a total of 188 players at the iPadel Mos facilities between October 15th and 18th. The initiative, organized by AFAGA Alzheimer and iPadel Fitness, had the institutional support of the Concello de Mos and the collaboration of numerous companies.
The competition included second, third, and fourth categories, in men's and women's modalities, as well as a third mixed category. A total of 42 prizes were awarded among the main draws and consolation brackets.
Concelleiras from the Concello de Mos, Felisa Rodríguez and Laura Méndez, attended the awards ceremony, joining the organization and participants in closing this sporting and solidarity event.
Under the slogan «Xuntos pola memoria», the tournament aimed to combine sports practice with raising awareness about Alzheimer's and other dementias, as well as supporting the work of AFAGA Alzheimer. A Fila 0 (Zero Row) was also available to facilitate donations from those who did not directly participate in the competition.
An exhibition match featured top-category players David García and Gonzalo Pérez against Daniel Pereiro and Héctor Guisande.
AFAGA presented awards to the Concello de Mos for its institutional support and to iPadel for its work and support in organizing the event. iPadel also received the 'Solidarity Company with Dementias 2026-2027' distinction.
The president of AFAGA, Juan Carlos Rodríguez, highlighted the value of sports and such initiatives in the prevention and awareness efforts regarding Alzheimer's and other dementias, encouraging other local companies to collaborate.
