The institutional meeting focused on projects shared by both administrations with the aim of improving the quality of services provided to residents. This year, the Xunta has already provided funding to the council for initiatives such as the improvement of the A Devesa recreational area, the acquisition of a brush cutter tractor, and the dual employment workshop, which is shared with Pantón and Sober.
Villares also referred to the revitalizing role of associative fabric and the need to equip it with infrastructure and equipment. In this regard, he recalled the Galician government's support for the Rebordaos Neighborhood Association in the renovation of its headquarters.
The delegate pointed out that institutional cooperation, along with the active involvement of local associations and groups, contributes to generating opportunities in rural areas and retaining population.
