The Xunta de Galicia is tendering for the supply of equipment for the ophthalmology service of the Santiago de Compostela and Barbanza health area, located at the Hospital de Conxo, for €178,690.

The Public Contracts Portal of Galicia today publishes the tender, which includes the acquisition of an optical coherence tomography system with OCT-A angiography and two slit lamps. This new equipment will enable high-resolution tomographic imaging, non-invasive study of ocular structures, and analysis of ocular microvasculature, facilitating the monitoring of pathologies such as macular degeneration or glaucoma.
Slit lamps, essential for ophthalmological examination, will allow for detailed inspection of ocular structures and assessment of abnormalities. The incorporation of this equipment will improve the quality of examinations, optimize workflows, and strengthen the health area's resolution capacity.
The Hospital de Conxo is a national reference center for the treatment of intraocular tumors in adults and complex ocular surface reconstruction, receiving patients from other autonomous communities.
Interested companies have until November 9 to submit their bids.
