The University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) is celebrating the thirty-second edition of its Photography Marathon, part of the Autumn Cultural program. This year's theme is ‘Houses’, around which approximately fifty participants have taken their photographs.
Participants will compete for three awards: the Carlos Valcárcel Award for the best photograph on the proposed theme, the Eduardo Ochoa Award for the best free-theme photograph, and the Audience Award. The latter will be voted on November 3rd, the day of the awards ceremony at the Intercenter Library of the Lugo Campus, at 8:15 PM.
This year's jury consists of Eduardo Ochoa, Teresa Valcárcel, and Adra Pallón. Twelve photographs will be selected for exhibition at the Intercenter Library from November 3rd to December 14th. Additionally, another 12 images will be included in the Lugo Cultural 2027 calendar.
