The CESGA and the IGFAE will play a fundamental role in HADRON-2030, a European initiative aiming to research the strong force, one of the pillars of the Standard Model of particle physics.

The project, coordinated by France's CNRS, brings together 49 organizations from 15 countries, supported by 86 other participating institutions. The initiative seeks to facilitate researcher access to leading facilities such as CERN, GSI/FAIR, or GANIL.
Galicia will contribute quantum computing and analog simulation resources through the IGFAE-CESGA Quantum Computing Lab. Researchers will have remote access to CESGA's quantum computer and quantum emulation resources, as well as IGFAE's analog quantum simulator, a unique facility in Spain.
HADRON-2030 also includes training for doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, engineers, and technical staff. The project is funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe program under Grant Agreement n.º 101292522.
