A group of students from the cycles of Environmental Use and Conservation and Forest and Environmental Management at the CFEA of Becerreá participated this week in a training activity in the mountains of O Courel. The day included a tour of the Devesa da Rogueira and a visit to the Moreda Nature Classroom, located in the municipality of Folgoso do Courel.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to identify the main plant species of the area, learn about the richness and uniqueness of its ecosystems, and delve into the importance of conservation and sustainable management of natural spaces. They were also introduced to various resources and tools for environmental education and interpretation, fostering responsible attitudes towards the environment.
This initiative is part of the Consellería do Medio Rural's commitment to complementing academic training with practical experiences that promote knowledge of the territory. The Ministry aims to strengthen the role of CFAs as centers linked to the reality and professional needs of the agricultural and forestry sector.
