The Ortigueira City Council has formalized the signing of the purchase agreement for a plot located in the parish of Senra, which will be designated for the creation of a future public recreational area. The transaction involved a municipal investment of 15,000 euros.
This initiative responds to a historical demand from the residents of Senra, who for years have requested an outdoor meeting space for families to enjoy. The future facility will provide the area with a leisure space specifically equipped for children.
The project also aims to contribute to the revitalization and social dynamism of the municipality's rural environment, bringing together the leisure activities of younger generations with those of adults and seniors who frequent the parish's social center.
