Following a meeting with families on the waiting list for swimming classes for ages 3 to 6, the local executive has decided to launch two additional courses for this age group, offering 24 places. These will be joined by new spots for Pilates (40 places across two classes), Aquagym (20 places in one class), and GAP (20 places in one class).
The City Council will prioritize individuals already on the waiting list, subsequently opening registration for other interested citizens. These new places complement the pool's existing offerings, which since June include 180 places for Pilates, 100 for Aquagym, 80 for GAP, 60 for toning, and a similar number for maintenance.
Regarding guided swimming courses, operational since September, there are 144 places available for various age groups, from babies (0-3 years) to adults, including prenatal swimming. The 3 to 6-year-old age group is the one now seeing an increase in capacity.
The pool, open since 2021, completed its full range of services and activities at the beginning of this summer, achieving significant popularity. Currently, it serves 1,540 users, with 371 holding general individual memberships, 130 being seniors (over 65), 65 young people, and 28 individuals with reduced mobility. Family memberships total 305, accounting for 945 users.
