The ceremonies took place at Frouxeira beach, at the entrance path to the shore, and in Pantín, at the foot of a plaque commemorating teachers repressed in 1936. These tributes are held in the month of the approval of the Democratic Memory Law and days before the municipal plenary session will vote on the regulation for the Sectoral Council of Democratic Memory.
At Frouxeira, the tribute recalled the executions at Porto Leis, where, according to testimonies, the last republican mayor of Serantes and his colleagues were shot. In Pantín, the homage extended to the repressed teachers: Frutos Burgos Ramos, Reinaldo Sarria Delgado, José Ambrós Gordillo, Manuel López González, and Joaquín Pérez Garre.
