The Mayor of Narón, Marián Ferreiro, and the Councillor for Training, Natalia Hermida, presented diplomas to about twenty people who completed two courses on operating forklifts and aerial work platforms (PEMP).

These training actions are part of the Municipal Training Program 2026 and took place at the Municipal Training Center Irmás Froilaz in A Gándara. The students received their accreditation after completing two 50-hour editions held between September and October.
The course content covered the operation of forklifts and mobile elevating work platforms, as well as transversal modules on labor orientation, equal opportunities, gender perspective, and Occupational Risk Prevention and Environment in the naval sector.
The local mayor and the Councillor for Training inquired about the students' training experience and emphasized the Council's commitment to equipping unemployed residents with skills in areas with significant demand in the region.
