The dining hall service of the Casas da Mariña community center in Narón will move to the Manuela Pérez Sequeiros community center starting this Monday, October 19th, with the rest of the activities and the cafeteria relocating on Saturday the 24th, due to refurbishment works on the building.

The Narón City Council aims to minimize inconvenience to users by transferring all services and activities previously held at Casas da Mariña to the Manuela Pérez Sequeiros community center, located in the same neighborhood. This way, users can maintain their routines in the same area.
Both centers, Casas da Mariña and Manuela Pérez Sequeiros, are municipally owned and integrated, offering a social function and comprehensive care for the elderly. They host various leisure and training activities, including new technologies, reading, plastic arts, yoga, and gymnastics, as well as cafeteria, kitchen, dining hall, and hairdressing services.
The renovation of the Casas da Mariña center has a budget of €285,666.10 and includes improvements to the flooring, restrooms, exterior carpentry, electrical and heating systems, and fire protection. The estimated execution period for these works is four months.
