The project, with a total budget of 1,579,019 euros, will allow for the renovation and modernization of these sports facilities built in 1999, which show deficiencies due to their age and continuous use.
The project includes the demolition of the current stands, restrooms, and hospitality area to build a new facility that will integrate a covered grandstand, seven changing rooms (four collective, one adapted, and two for referees), storage rooms, a laundry room, a caretaker's office, and a hospitality area.
The new stands will feature a roof to protect spectators, addressing one of the main shortcomings of the current facilities, which limit visibility and usability on rainy days.
The intervention will also improve universal accessibility, with adapted access for people with reduced mobility, and will incorporate energy efficiency systems such as a biomass boiler, heat recovery ventilation, and LED lighting.
The works, with a ten-month execution period, will allow the playing field to continue being used during construction, although the affected changing rooms will be temporarily unavailable.
