The Xunta delegate recalled the positive reception of this initiative, which in its last call in May sold out in just five days, confirming the interest it generates among citizens and local businesses. The new call, published on Tuesday in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG), maintains the same budget as the previous edition, bringing the Xunta's total investment this year to €5 million.
The vouchers, downloadable since last Wednesday, October 28th, via the website www.bonosactivacomercio.gal, offer progressive discounts based on purchase amount: €5 for spending between €20 and €30, €10 for purchases between €30 and €50, and €15 for purchases of €50 or more. Each person can obtain a voucher with a maximum value of €30, applied via a digital QR code.
Belén do Campo highlighted the crucial role of local commerce in the regional economy and the importance of measures that stimulate sales and help consumers save. It is estimated that this new call will mobilize over €8.5 million in sales.
Businesses already registered in the first edition of this year will retain their participation. Shops wishing to join have until December 15th or until the credit is exhausted. Additionally, a raffle will continue on the Xunta de Galicia's Instagram and TikTok accounts for four €250 vouchers, which must be reinvested in participating shops within one week.
