The provincial contribution amounts to 215,042.013 euros out of a total budget of 388,040.35 euros. The main objective of this collaboration is to consolidate the offer of sociocultural activities, digital training, care for children and the elderly, as well as ensuring specialized staff in both spaces.
The first agreement focuses on the activity program for rural sociocultural centers in Santiago for 2026. With a budget of 150,000 euros for sociocultural animation and new technologies, the Diputación contributes 50%, a maximum of 75,000 euros. This funding enables the development of children's workshops, digital animation initiatives for seniors, memory stimulation activities, personal development, and intergenerational leisure proposals.
The second agreement is for the maintenance of the Ensanche Sociocultural and Youth Center in 2026. The personnel expenses budget amounts to 238,040.35 euros, of which the provincial body assumes 58.83%, totaling 140,042.13 euros. This support ensures the continued operation of a key space for the Ensanche residents, offering activities such as reading clubs, chess, theater, specialized computer workshops, and various cultural and well-being programs.
