The director of the Axencia Galega da Calidade Alimentaria, Martín Alemparte, participated today in Vedra in the inaugural session of Credencial Gastro, an initiative aimed at bringing Galician foods with differentiated quality seals closer to consumers.

The Feira da Ponte Ulla in Vedra hosted the first session of Credencial Gastro, an initiative driven by culinary professionals and developed with the support of the Xunta de Galicia, through the program O Teu Xacobeo and the initiative Aquí Sabemos. The goal is for consumers to discover and identify Galician products with differentiated quality seals in a participatory way.
The activity offers a free gastronomic experience where each participant chooses from four types of tapas (meat, fish, vegetable, or sweet) and must identify three ingredients with differentiated quality seals among eight options. Those who overcome the challenge receive rewards such as product samples and promotional gifts.
This initiative seeks to foster knowledge and recognition of differentiated quality seals, which guarantee the origin and characteristics of products, as well as to highlight the work of Galician producers and processors.
After its stop in Vedra, Credencial Gastro will continue in November in the municipalities of Boqueixón, Pontecesures, Mesía, and Curtis. More information is available on the website credencialgastro.es.
