Isaac Rosón assumes the role of Secretary General of Industry and Energy Development, succeeding Nicolás Vázquez, who is now the Minister of Environment and Climate Change. Rosón comes to this position after a career linked to the Ministry of the Sea and Igape.
Previously, Rosón served as Director General of Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Technological Innovation at the Ministry of the Sea. Before that, he was Director of the Business Innovation Area at the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape).
The new Secretary General holds a degree in Naval and Oceanic Engineering from the University of A Coruña. His professional experience includes positions in the Maritime Security and Inspection departments of the Maritime Captaincies of Alicante and Barcelona. He also worked as an associate professor at the Barcelona Nautical Faculty and in naval design for companies in the sector.
