The initiative, organized by Escena Galega, has achieved its highest participation with 42 representatives from municipalities, festivals, and private venues, as well as 45 companies and distributors. The director of the Galician Agency for Cultural Industries, Jacobo Sutil, highlighted the importance of creating spaces that connect companies with the needs of programmers.
The collaboration agreement between the Consellería de Cultura, Lingua e Xuventude and Escena Galega, with a budget of €28,000, aims to professionalize the performing arts. Sutil pointed out that support for creation must be accompanied by tools that facilitate the circulation of proposals and their hiring.
The event features new formats such as 'Micro aberto!', a dialogue for programming professionals, and 'O que a escena galega ten no forno', which presents works in progress. The business round is also reformulated with the space 'Café e dossier' to facilitate project exchange and multiply commercial contacts.
Additionally, the agreement supports the Acompaña program for economic and business advice, access to services from the State Federation of Theater and Dance Companies Associations, and the Recoñecementos Escena Galega awards.
