The January 23, 2027, elections will select the members of the general boards and councils, ensuring representative parity between workers and employers, as well as the governing bodies of sectoral groups.
Following the election and swearing-in of the captains and vice-captains in February, the process will continue with the renewal of the executive committees and presidencies of the provincial federations in early March. By early April 2027, the elections will be completed with the proclamation and assumption of office by the governing bodies of the Galician Federation of Fishermen's Brotherhoods.
