The new itinerary, almost one kilometer long, will connect the hamlets of A Ermida, Pazos, and Marcón, facilitating access to facilities such as the school, church, and sports center of the Pontevedra parish.
The intervention on the PO-542 also includes the creation of a roundabout with an outer diameter of 30 meters to improve safety and traffic flow in the area.
The project also foresees complementary interventions such as the elimination of central waiting lanes for left turns, improvement of existing intersections, creation of acceleration and deceleration spaces at access points, and the provision of two new bus user shelters.
