The Xunta de Galicia presented in Combarro a new campaign to promote the Camino del Litoral, seeking to make it more visible, accessible, and connected with travelers and the 78 municipalities along its route.

The Conselleira de Medio Ambiente e Cambio Climático, Ángeles Vázquez, and the Director of Tourism of Galicia, Xosé Merelles, presented in Combarro the new tourism promotion campaign for the Camino del Litoral. The objective is to consolidate this coastal route, spanning 1,373 kilometers and 52 stages, as an increasingly visible, accessible experience connected with travelers and the municipalities it traverses.
The campaign includes the distribution of promotional posters with QR codes linking to the mobile application, materials for tourist information offices, and resources for walkers, such as logbooks, pencils, and keychains. According to Ángeles Vázquez, these actions aim to ensure the experience endures in pilgrims' memories and to improve the mobile app by integrating tourism information from the Axencia de Turismo de Galicia.
Xosé Merelles highlighted the tourism potential of the Camino del Litoral, aligning with the objectives of the Estratexia de Turismo de Galicia 2030. He emphasized the importance of distributing tourism offerings across the more than 1,300 km of coastline and 78 municipalities, promoting coastal and nature tourism. He also noted the collaboration between departments to "order, protect, and enhance our coastline, making it sustainably accessible".
The Conselleira recalled that the Camino del Litoral is a shared heritage of the 78 municipalities, their inhabitants, pilgrims, and visitors, and stressed the responsibility of working together with the tourism sector to make this experience an accessible, sustainable, and well-known itinerary.
