José Ángel Blanco Pazos, a student on the Master's in Industrial Design Engineering at the Escola Universitaria de Deseño Industrial (EUDI), has been named the winner of the poster contest for the II Training and Education Fair. The event, promoted by the Ferrol City Council in collaboration with the Universidade da Coruña (UDC) through its Campus Industrial, will take place on Wednesday, November 18th, at the Álvaro Lamas Auditorium.
Last Thursday, October 15th, the Mayor of Ferrol, José Manuel Rey Varela, along with the Vice-rector for the Ferrol Campus, Equality and Social Responsibility, Ana Ares Pernas, and the Councillor for Education, University, and Linguistic Policy, Patricia Cons Formoso, received the winning student after the fair and poster were presented to the media.
During an informal ceremony, Blanco Pazos was presented with a cheque for 250 euros and the corresponding certificate. His design was chosen from a total of 25 submissions, all created by students from the Universidade da Coruña (UDC).
