The new trailer, awarded to the company Ferro Deza, S.L. for 3,400.10 euros (VAT included), will be used for transporting machinery and tools for gardening and public space conservation work. It will facilitate the movement of the zero-turn mower and other municipal equipment.
The mayor, Paula Fernández Pena, highlighted the usefulness of these modest but essential investments for daily operations. "Having a trailer of this kind will greatly facilitate the transport of machinery and allow municipal staff to work with greater safety and efficiency," she stated.
This acquisition complements the arrival, last August, of an electric van, a Citroën ë-Berlingo, also intended for gardening and environmental protection services. "We continue to advance in improving the material resources the Town Council has," added the mayor.
The investment, amounting to 28,425.44 euros, was financed by the Xunta de Galicia, through the Directorate General of Local Administration, from the 2026 Environmental Compensation Fund. The project included the electric van (purchased for 23,800 euros) and this trailer.
With the delivery of the trailer, the Town Council completes the planned acquisitions, strengthening resources for public space maintenance and environmental protection. The mayor reiterated the commitment to modernizing municipal services by leveraging funding opportunities.
