The Rodeiro City Council launched a youth employment promotion aid program in 2026, partly funded by the European Union, aiming to facilitate the labor market integration of unemployed young people registered with the Youth Guarantee.

This initiative seeks to support the integration of young people into the labor market by improving their employability and professional insertion. Simultaneously, it aims to strengthen the municipal secretariat staff for processing expediente.
The hired individual will perform effective work providing necessary professional practice for sustainable integration into the job market, as well as carrying out tasks of great interest to the residents.
The program is financed by 60% from the European Union, within the framework of the FSE+ Galicia 2021-2027 program. It falls under Political Objective 4, which aims for a more social and inclusive Europe, and the priority of Youth Employment.
Specific objective ES04.1 focuses on improving access to employment and activation measures for job seekers, particularly young people, long-term unemployed, and disadvantaged groups, as well as promoting self-employment and the social economy.
