The Xunta de Galicia has tendered for a combined amount of €245,540 the works to renovate the hot and cold water production systems at the Rosalía de Castro and Taboada Leal health centers, belonging to the Vigo health area.

These are two independent contracts. One, with a base tender budget of €95,540, is for the Rosalía de Castro health center, while the second, with a budget of €150,000, is for Taboada Leal.
Interested companies have until November 2nd at 2:00 PM to submit their offers for the Rosalía de Castro health center, and until November 10th at the same time for Taboada Leal.
At the Rosalía de Castro health center, the project involves replacing the current hot water production system for heating and domestic hot water with a new high-energy efficiency condensing thermal plant. The work will include removing the existing boiler, adapting hydraulic and electrical connections, and renovating the boiler room. Furthermore, the regulation and control system will be updated and integrated into the Vigo health area's corporate Niágara platform. This is expected to improve energy efficiency, reduce natural gas consumption, and lower maintenance costs.
Meanwhile, at the Taboada Leal health center, the cold water production system for the building's air conditioning will be replaced with two new high-energy efficiency units. These two air-to-water chillers will be connected to operate in cascade, allowing them to function independently or simultaneously based on demand. The upgrade also includes removing the current equipment and adapting the installations.
These renovations aim to enhance energy performance, reduce operating and maintenance costs, and ensure adequate air conditioning conditions in the various care and administrative areas of both centers.
