The Xunta de Galicia has put out to tender for 305,536 euros the renovation of the thermal system at the Betanzos health center, within the A Coruña and Cee health area, aiming to improve energy efficiency and comfort.

The project involves replacing the current diesel production system with a new reversible air-to-water heat pump system and renewing the air conditioning terminals. It also includes the independent production of domestic hot water using aerothermal energy and the maintenance and adjustment of the existing ventilation system.
The Galician Health Service (Sergas) seeks to improve the environmental conditions, healthiness, and comfort for both healthcare professionals and patients attending the center through this renovation.
Furthermore, the initiative aims to optimize the energy efficiency and environmental sustainability of the healthcare facilities.
Companies interested in participating in this tender process have until November 25 to submit their economic and technical proposals.
