The Xunta published today the tender, for 403,272 euros, for the design and supervision of works to improve energy efficiency at the Hospital Público de Barbanza.

The Galician Health Service (Sergas), following an energy audit, identified several possible improvements to achieve greater efficiency and comfort within the hospital building. The estimated investment for the execution of these works, expected to begin in 2027, is around 6.1 million euros.
The planned actions include replacing curtain walls, improving facades, changing windows and glazing, installing LED lighting, insulating the roof, and replacing air conditioning units and chillers to significantly reduce energy consumption.
The deadline for project design will be two months from the contract formalization. Interested companies have until next November 19 to submit their bids.
