The project, with an expected execution period of six months, aims to modernize and upgrade these facilities in A Mariña. The work will involve renovating floors, wall coverings, and false ceilings in bathrooms and changing rooms, as well as replacing radiators and pipes in the heating system. A partial renovation of the sanitation network and its connection to the pumping well will also be carried out, along with the connection to the building for water supply.
The Area Youth Hostel is part of the Modo Verán Activo campaign. In its last edition, the province of Lugo offered a total of 2,672 places for youth leisure activities, of which 1,963 were for organized camps at various hostels, including the one in Viveiro, in addition to other training and language immersion activities.
