A Coruña City Council will soon begin the second phase of the comprehensive renovation of Ángel Rebollo street, in the Monte Alto neighborhood, with a total investment of 1.5 million euros.

Municipal services recently completed the first section of this street, between Arzobispo Gelmírez and Ramón del Cueto. The renovation, carried out in phases due to the street's length, will now continue with the final section of the project.
The mayor, Inés Rey, highlighted that "the objective of our urban humanization plan is to move towards a new model that promotes sustainable mobility, accessibility, resident comfort, and the aesthetic improvement of our neighborhood streets. Ultimately, ensuring comprehensive transformations thanks to public investment and resources".
The intervention includes the renovation of pavements, sanitation, rainwater drainage, pipelines, elevation of pedestrian crossings, container reordering, new horizontal and vertical signage, and the installation of benches and trees. The already completed area saw improvements in accessibility and safety.
