The A Coruña Council will deliver a total of 80 domestic composters, each with a 300-liter capacity, to associations, educational centers, and individuals in the city tomorrow.

Seventy composters will be distributed at the Fórum Metropolitano, while the remaining ten have already been given to public schools. Recipients will also receive training on their use, a bucket, and a composting manual.
This initiative is part of the local government's strategy for urban waste management, focusing on separation, recycling, and a circular economy. The composters were awarded free of charge based on the order of application submissions.
The distribution addresses the growing public demand for systems to reduce the amount of waste sent to treatment plants, aiming to valorize organic waste.
