The Teatro Rosalía de Castro hosted the 'Mulleres pola inclusión' gala, a special concert to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Festigual, the Fundación Emalcsa's Inclusive Arts Festival.

The tenth edition of Festigual, the Inclusive Arts Festival organized by the Concello da Coruña through the Fundación Emalcsa, officially kicked off with the 'Mulleres pola inclusión' gala at the Teatro Rosalía de Castro. The event brought together Guadi Galego, Uxía, A Banda da Loba, and Chungo Pastel on stage for a unique concert created to commemorate a decade of commitment to inclusive culture.
The Councilor for Culture and Tourism, Gonzalo Castro, highlighted Festigual's role as one of the city's most relevant initiatives in cultural accessibility. "Festigual has demonstrated over these ten years that culture is richer when it is accessible to everyone. This festival has become a benchmark for its ability to build spaces for encounter, participation, and equality through the arts," he stated.
The gala, presented by Leti da Taberna and Corina Alfonso, also served as a recognition of the female talent that has been part of the festival's history, with performances and collaborations created specifically for this commemorative edition.
Since its creation in 2017, Festigual has worked to eliminate barriers to cultural access. Throughout its ten editions, the event has developed over 160 activities and performances, featured the participation of a thousand artists, and involved 126 entities and professionals.
The gala marks the beginning of more than two weeks of free and accessible activities in various city spaces. The full program is available on the festival's website.
