The Deputación da Coruña is collaborating in the celebration of the II Fair of Cultural and Creative Industries, CoruñArt, which will be held on November 7 at the Fórum Metropolitano in A Coruña. The event, with free admission, aims to strengthen the cultural sector, foster professional collaboration, and bring artistic creation closer to the public.
The Deputy of Culture, Natividade González, highlighted at the initiative's presentation the importance of supporting projects that recognize culture as a strategic sector, generating employment and economic activity. "Supporting the cultural and creative industries means betting on talent, innovation, and culture's capacity to drive the territory," she stated.
“"From the Diputación, we want to contribute to ensuring that professionals in the sector have spaces for experiences, establishing alliances, and gaining visibility for their work."
The fair will maintain its aim of bringing together professionals, companies, entities, and the public around various artistic and cultural disciplines. In this edition, 'one to one' professional meetings will be reinforced to facilitate contacts and business opportunities.
The event will feature the collaboration of the Academia Galega do Audiovisual, which will present award-winning works from the Mestre Mateo Awards, and the Escola de Imaxe e Son da Coruña, to showcase new generations of creative industry professionals.
Additionally, the deadline is open for companies and non-profit entities linked to the cultural sector to apply for an exhibition space to present their projects, products, and services.
