The A Coruña Provincial Council has opened the application period for citizens to download MercaNaVila discount vouchers, offering savings of up to 100 euros on purchases at small businesses in municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants.

The second edition of the program, funded with a budget of 5 million euros, began with high demand, exceeding 6,000 vouchers downloaded in the first hour. The vouchers can be used until November 20 or until the available credit is exhausted.
Due to the significant interest, the Council has extended the business registration deadline to November 20, aiming to facilitate participation from more establishments. To date, over 1,200 business applications have been received, surpassing last year's figures.
The program targets businesses in municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants, where small businesses play a vital role in the local economy. The Council is also working on agreements to support commerce in municipalities with populations between 20,000 and 50,000.
Discounts are applied directly at the point of purchase: €10 for purchases between €20-€30, €20 for purchases between €30-€50, and €30 for purchases of €50 or more. Vouchers can be downloaded at www.mercanavila.gal.
