The definitive resolution, published by the Dirección Xeral de Ordenación e Innovación Educativa of the Xunta de Galicia, confirms the participation of ten centers from the province of A Coruña, two from Lugo, one from Ourense, and two from Pontevedra. Students from ESO, Bachillerato, and Vocational Training cycles will work on collaborative projects.
The main objective of the initiative is to increase students' knowledge and skills in science and technology, fostering teamwork and attention to diversity. Students will design technological solutions for people with disabilities, with the support of teaching staff, researchers from CITIC, and professionals from collaborating entities.
The technological challenges, which will cover areas such as communication systems, augmented reality, robotics, or 3D printing, will be defined based on participant needs. Each challenge may involve a maximum of ten students, and each center can participate in multiple projects.
The program, which has the collaboration of the Consellería de Educación, Ciencia, Universidades e Formación Profesional, includes monthly online meetings and opening and closing ceremonies. The final presentation of the work is scheduled for June 11, 2027.
