The Verín City Council has opened the registration period for participation as an exhibitor in the 2026 Christmas Fair. The event will take place on December 5, 6, 7, and 8 in the Praza Maior, with opening hours from 11:00 to 14:00 and 16:30 to 21:00.
The call is aimed at craft professionals, workshops, master artisans, and food sector establishments. Proposals must be linked to the Christmas theme, both in products and their presentation and stall decoration, which will be the responsibility of the exhibitors.
The deadline for submitting applications is November 12, although it may be extended. Registration will be processed through the standardized form available on the Verín City Council's electronic headquarters, or in person at the Town Hall Registry for those not obliged to electronic dealings.
The participation fee will be 60 euros per exhibitor for the four days. Selected individuals must make the payment and submit proof of payment to the organization within three working days of provisional notification.
The fair will offer two types of exhibition spaces: wooden cabins (2.60 × 2.40 meters) and standard stalls (3 × 3 meters), both with electrical installation, lighting, and signage. Applicants must indicate their preference, which will be considered based on availability and after payment. Each participant must provide the necessary furniture and keep their stall open during the established hours for all four days.
Selection will prioritize the order of receipt of complete applications, product variety, and suitability for the Christmas theme. Possession of a Craftsman's Card or equivalent accreditation will also be valued. A reserve list may be created.
Through this initiative, the Verín City Council aims to provide a promotional and sales space for local crafts and food, encourage proximity shopping, and offer residents and visitors a way to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere.
